Each year, WBC member companies support composites-related graduate work at Center partner universities, including
Oregon State University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Maine, and Virginia Tech.
In order to receive WBC funding, applicants must first be accepted into the Graduate School as full-time students
at their respective universities. Project topics will be related to the WBC Center Research Agenda, so applicants
must have an interest in working in the wood-based composites, or related, field. Often, other composites-related
graduate funding is also available from WBC universities. See individual fellowship and assistantship announcements
listed below for details on how and when to apply.
One M.S. or Ph.D. Wood-Based Composites Center Fellowship (Graduate Research Assistantship) in wood-based composite science and technology is available
in the Department of Wood Science for Spring 2009.
